About Shannon Abbe

Shannon Abbe and the Wizard of Oz’s character, Dorothy Gale, have a lot in common. They both know that “There’s no place like home”. Shannon, the newest member of the Abbe • Ross Real Estate team was raised in Sarasota where she attended Riverview High School. Graduating from Riverview in just 3 years, Shannon attended the University of South Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

 

Upon graduating, Shannon took a job in medical sales where she quickly became the top producer in her territory. As customer service is paramount in that industry this experience honed her ability to truly listen to customers' needs, communicate effectively, and exceed expectations. Given her background, transitioning to real estate was a natural progression, allowing her to merge her passion for her hometown with her commitment to exceptional service.

 

Although a newer agent, Shannon is no stranger to the world of real estate as her father, Steve Abbe, lead agent of Abbe • Ross has been in the industry for over 20 years. This exposure has given Shannon a deep respect for, and understanding of, all it takes to successfully list and sell properties. She brings her drive, determination, and in depth knowledge of Sarasota and Manatee Counties to deliver the same top-notch service Steve has brought to his customers over the years.

 

Living in her new home in Palmer Ranch, when she is not working Shannon enjoys all the recreational and cultural offerings of the area including the beaches, restaurants, and most importantly to her, shopping!

 

A passionate dog lover, she volunteers for Tender Heart Charities, a local dog shelter, and is becoming an active member of RASM.
