Meet Wendy
REALTOR®Wendy Ross has been a Real Estate Agent for over two and a half decades. She started her career in 1997, working alongside her mother, Ann Ross. Under her tutorage, Wendy learned all the ins and outs of the industry, developing a successful career and earning a stellar reputation amongst her customers as well as other Real Estate Agents she has worked with.
Customer-centric, highly driven, and market savvy, she brings a sense of true joy to her work, infusing all she does with a positive energy that is truly inspiring. Evidence of this is the way she endeavors to connect buyers and sellers to the best inspectors, title companies, contractors, and other vendors, all of whom she has had long-standing relationships, with to ensure a smooth transaction for all parties.
Over the years Wendy has earned many industry designations and accolades including Five-Star Professional for 17 consecutive years (2006-2023), is a RE/MAX Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and is a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI), an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a Certified Master Negotiator (MCNE) and a Global Luxury Specialist.
You may recognize Wendy from her days delivering the daily forecast on ABC, Channel 7, or NBC, Channel 8. While she no longer provides weather reports, Wendy is still currently active on ABC 7 as an interview host. She is also active in several industry groups and community committees, including BNI, Buffini, The Hammocks Board, and The Hammocks Social Committee.
When not working or volunteering her time and talents, Wendy, a Sarasota resident for over 50 years, enjoys spending time with her husband Mark Riva, a (rare) Sarasota native. She has two adult children and she’s a proud Nana of four grandchildren.
