The Oaks Golf and Country Club Sarasota is a country club community encompassing 1,000 acres east and west of South Tamiami Trail/Route 41 in Osprey, FL. Located close to downtown Sarasota, world-renowned beaches, and excellent schools, this luxurious country club community is comprised of three distinct neighborhoods, The Oaks Clubside, The Oaks Bayside, and The Oaks Preserve. Each offers its own unique look, feel, and amenities. From spectacular waterfront estates that back up to Little Sarasota Bay to golf course homes to maintenance-free villas and condominiums, The Oaks truly offers something for everyone.

 

The Oaks communities are deed-restricted with a mandatory homeowner association, tree-lined boulevards, streetlights, and manicured grounds with trees and plants native to Florida.

 

Residents of The Oaks Club community are required to join the Club as Equity or Social members. This form of membership is important, because it ensures the Club's financial stability, helps to promote social interaction among the members, and reinforces the sense of community. Non-residents may participate in the Club as Associates. The three categories of Associates are golf, tennis, and social/dining.

 

The Oaks Club is the area's only private, member-owned golf course community offering two championship golf courses, award-winning tennis programs, an elegant club, and three of the best restaurants in town.

 

Members of The Oaks Club enjoy two 18-hole golf courses designed by Arthur Hills and Willard C. Byrd the Heron and the Eagle. Oaks Clubside is also home to the 41,000 square-foot Georgian-style clubhouse, which includes a well-stocked pro shop, a regulation croquet court, a junior Olympic swimming pool, and twelve Har-Tru tennis courts.
